Mimic Pipe

A realistic pipe with flange fittings, drawn as a polyline with optional animated flow.

In Studio

Drawn with the pipe tool. On a view whose root is a Coordinate Container, choose the Draw / Edit Pipe Nodes tool on the toolbar, pick Mimic Pipe in the pipe-type menu beside it, then click on the canvas to place each corner. The same tool draws Pipe and P&ID Line.

When to use

Use Mimic Pipe where the added visual detail of flanges reads better than a plain Pipe — a more literal mimic diagram rather than a simplified process schematic.
