Checkbox / Radio Group

A checkbox group or a radio group, in classic, card or segmented style.

In Studio

In Studio, double-click Checkbox / Radio Group in the Components category of the Components panel. It is added to the open view, where you can drag it into place.

When to use

Use Choice Group for options and permissives: a radio group when exactly one option applies, a checkbox group when any number do. Pick segmented for two to five short options.

Directioncolumn, rowcolumnStacks the classic and card options in a column (default) or lays them out in a row.
Requires Signaturefalse, truefalseSame contract as Button's Requires Signature — defers the write to the electronic-signature dialog.

Binding

Click Bind… on the Value property and bind it to a tag or an expression to drive the live value.

To let an operator change the tag from this component, tick Bidirectional (read-write) on the binding. Without it the component only displays the value.

Writes on click. Checkbox mode reads the current mask and writes it back with one bit flipped, so two operators changing different boxes in the same instant can overwrite each other.
