Appearance
Flex Repeater
Instances another screen once per entry in a bound or authored array, laid out in a row or column.
In Studio
In Studio, double-click Flex Repeater in the Components category of the Components panel. It is added to the open view, where you can drag it into place.
When to use
Use Flex Repeater for a list of identically-laid-out rows or tiles driven by data — one row per device, one tile per tank — instead of copy-pasting an Embedded View per item.
Properties
| Property | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| View | String | (none) | The name of the screen to instance for each entry. |
| Direction | row, column | row | Lays instances out in a row (default) or column. |
| Wrap | true, false | true | When true, instances wrap onto additional rows/columns instead of overflowing in a single line. |
| Gap | Number | 8 | The spacing, in pixels, between instances. |
Binding
This component has no single value binding.
No value binding — the repeated array of per-instance parameters (instances) is authored or bound separately; each instance's own screen can still write independently through its own bindings.
